首届亚洲电化学储能装置阻抗谱研讨会通知

2015416日、17日由清华大学汽车安全与节能国家重点实验室主办的首届亚洲电化学储能装置阻抗谱研讨会将在清华大学近春园召开。

电化学阻抗谱作为一种强有力的电化学分析方法,能够有效区分具有不同时间尺度的各种电化学过程,揭示电极结构、反应机理,确定传质过程中的控制步骤,从而为电化学装置的优化设计提供有力支撑。中国、日本、韩国等亚洲国家,在电池、燃料电池、光伏电池的产业及研究中处于世界领先地位。本次研讨会旨在促进相关学者在应用电化学阻抗谱研究电化学能量转换和储存装置方面的交流,同时扩大学术界和企业研发界在此领域的合作。

First Asian Symposium on Impedance Spectroscopy for Electrochemical Energy Devices

April 16-17, 2015

Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) is a powerful electrochemical analysis technique known for its unique capability to differentiate between electrochemical processes of various nature. On the basis of widely different time-scales, EIS allows to reveal the limiting factors in reaction mechanisms, and mass-transport processes, thereby giving insight for the optimization of electrochemical devices.

Asia, especially China, Japan and Korea, is world-leading in the battery, fuel cell, and photovoltaic industries. An Asian Symposium on Impedance Spectroscopy for Electrochemical Energy Devices will facilitate the communication between the leading Asian researchers in the use of EIS in characterizing electrochemical energy conversion and storage devices, as well as enhancing the cooperation between the academia and the R&D in the industry.

We envision this symposium as a series meeting, taking place in China and Japan alternatively in the beginning, and expanding to a multi-national EIS conference incorporating further Asian countries in the following years.

The first symposium is co-chaired by Jianbo Zhang (Tsinghua University) and Masayuki Itagaki (Tokyo University of Science).

Two scientific sessions are divided as below:

(1)     Fundamentals of EIS:

       Dynamic EIS

       Distributed EIS

       Multi-disciplinary impedance spectroscopy

(2)     EIS applications :

       Batteries (Lithium-ion battery, redox flow battery, etc..)

       Fuel Cells

       Solar Cells

       Capacitors

The deadline of abstract submission is January 18, 2015.
